I performed genetic editing using the CRISPR/Cas9 technique to generate a knockout cell model for the AGS lineage. The guides were directed to chromosome 1. When performing the amplicon sequencing of the target region of the clones previously isolated, we noticed 3 types of reads, as if there was a third allele.
In the bibliography I did not find any report about this finding. Does anyone have information on the status of chromosome 1 of the AGS lineage (ATCC)?
In this paper SNP array analysis of the AGS cell line was conducted (see supplements), there appears to be no gross CNA of chromosome 1 but you might ask the authors for the copy number state of you gene of interest.
