I work with molluscs (mainly gastropods) of hard bottom areas (< 30m depth) in Crete, South Aegean, Greece.
What I face during my identification work of the specimens is that I have lots of juveniles ( > 75% are juveniles). How should I manage them ? Keep them as sp. or try to give a name using the close adults that are in the samples?

Trying to identify juveniles is quite important to get an overall knowledge about species and is a very useful training for malacologists. Furthermore, juveniles usually have a well preserved protoconch, which is very important in order to know the type of larval development and to get taxonomical tool.
As you wrote using adult and subadult specimens is the right way to understand juveniles. Let's go!
I'm studying some Gibbula endemisms in Mediterranean, tracing their origin by a paleontological approach. Have you some record of G. spratti from Crete?

About spratti, i have from literature but not specime on hands.
About juveniles aftre the examination of almost 11.000 individuals i manage to seperate and id them after finding adults.
