It's my first question there. I'm working on a project in which I want to make a current sensor in range of 0-1.5A. I think that the best method is with a current sensing amplifier and a shunt resistor (you could recommend me and other methods). The specs of this current sensor should be 1mA precision and 1mA total error . My first thought was about to divide this range in smaller but I don't the steps in order to calculate the shunt resistor that it's amplifier needs (because every current sensing amplifier has it's own specs) and how to calculate total output error. Every recommended bibliography would be useful for me.
