One of my juniors wants to detect LAMP products by using SYBR Green I but he failed to find any protocol for staining nucleic acid directly. Can anyone please help in this regard?
Just add SYBR Green I at 1000x dilution to the tubes and visualize them under UV light. There are numerous papers on this. You can refer to one which is available at the following link:
Yes it is possible with PCR and is the principle behind SYBR green based qPCR. The only thing is that you have to see up to what concentration of template you can differentiate positive reaction from NTC, just by seeing the fluorescence difference by naked eyes.
