I want to use sma-based reinforcement at the particular face in the beam and column. Moreover, is it possible to use typical steel reinforcement and sma-based reinforcement in the same section of beam/column? I need guidelines on how to model it.

At first you must define a material with mechanical properties of SMA and then use it in structure sections. If you are using nonlinear analysis you have to insert nonlinear material properties of SMA to your new material and then use it as sections material in SeismoStruct .
