I am attempting a numerical modeling of a pullout test for reinforced concrete. I have calculated the stiffness parameters following the FIB 2010 standard. I used cohesive contact interaction property for modeling ineraction between embedded length of rebar and concrete. However, for some reason, my bond stress vs. slip curve is not declining as expected. I also tried randomly increasing the stiffness parameters (Knn, Kss, Ktt), but the curve still does not behave as it should. Can you suggest what I should do?"

I am trying to model pre-stressing of strand in concrete. The initial trial model works and I use the predefined field (initial stress). The interaction between strand and concrete is difficult and I use the surface to surface interaction using cohesive and damage behaviour. I am trying to understand the stiffness coefficients like Knn, Kss, Ktt. Also, in damage behaviour, how to get parameter for max normal stress etc? Could you please explain these unknown parameters? Additionally, how to develop bond stress-slip curves for prestressing strand in abaqus?
