Scopus is an abstract and citation database that has stored and analyzed millions of publications including journal articles, as well as conference proceedings and books. Scopus is a subscription-based service, but when you are on the campus network, you probably have access to it. But even if you do not have access via your institution, you can use the free author look-up to query your h-index.
Log in to Scopus: Access Scopus through your institution or personal account.
Search for Your Author Profile: Enter your name in the Scopus search bar and select your profile from the author list.
Go to the Citations Tab: Once on your profile, navigate to the "Citations" section.
Find the h-index: Your h-index will be displayed along with other citation metrics (total citations, number of articles, etc.).
The h-index is calculated based on the number of papers (h) that have been cited at least h times. For example, an h-index of 10 means you have 10 papers with at least 10 citations each.
