Hi,

I am trying to use predefined field from output database on a simple example : a spring in a cylinder.

First I did a calculation without predefined field.

Second I used this result as predefined field for a new calculation without any other load than the field. (In other --> field, I chose the odb file and then the last increment and NNC as output variable).

The job completes but results are really different from the original calculation (pictures below).

I tried once with the original length of the spring and once with the final length but none worked.

Any ideas of where could be the problem and what I am supposed to get ?

I never used this function so I don't really know what is correct or no.
