Sir., I have worked on potato peel waste which contains majority of starch which is hard to bio-conversion. Use of P elongata earth-worm suits to be the best for treating.

my suggestion is try a experimental trial with vermifilter using P elongata.

I have experienced  one way. They mixed the settled organic particles with the sludge, and then heated in a granulator.

Separate each waste at each unit individually. Do not mix them, then you end up with the cost-effective process of starch recovery and BOD reduction in wastewater.

I've used horizontal decanter type centrifuges to dewater potato chip waste (peals, starch, and fibers) going from a consistency of less than 1% total solids to a cake consistency of 20 to 25% total solids.  The solids recovery of the centrifuge was normally 85% with most of the solids being captured in the cake coming from the centrifuge.  The other 15% of the total solids was lost in the centrate coming off the centrifuge which was sent back to the plant for retreating.  With coagulants, the expect capture rate of the centrifuge would be 97 to 98%.  Cake coming from the centrifuge was normally used as livestock feed since there were no coagulants (polymers) required to flocculate the slurry before entering the centrifuge.  I'm not sure on the value as to fertilization.  With the peels included in the waste, the centrifuge provided a cake which resembled a rich crumbly soil which could be easily spreadable on farm land.
