i think that you can specify for each block a sample time in the properties

Dear colleague, I suggest you set the sampling time of your blocks to "-1", in order to fit in properly within the rest of components either subsystems or elements that build up your model.

I have a plant, which is operating at frequency 10Hz. but the sensors are high frequency sensors and provide data at 1000Hz. In simple simulations, you need to run simulations at sampling time of 0.1 second and the sensor data are used every 0.1 of second at the data in the interval are omitted by things such as Zero-Order Hold, etc.

I need to store the data and perform some mathematical manipulations on them during the intervals and use them in some other blocks of the simulation.

the question is that, how do I store the data of sensors during simulation and perform calculations on them.

In my opinion the data you could store assigning in each block either a variable name or a value in decimation (F.i I always use d=100, because the size of my data generated), but Ts must be assigned following the next formula (Ts=1/(100*frequency). You can use two differents Ts without no one issue.

as it can be seen in figure, i have a plant, a controller, and a supplementary system.

in practice, the sensor data is provided at high rates, 1000 Hz, but the plant and the controller are designed at lower frequencies.

I run the simulation with sampling rate of 0.001 second. the controller is supposed to receive data at 10 Hz.

the problem i have is that how do I use signals with different frequencies during the simulation in Simulink.

I'm affraid, but I my proposal is addressed to defined your differents Ts and after that assign each one for your respectives blocks.

There is a Rate Transition block in the simulink library and you can give it a try.

Hi, please use a Rate transition block and put that block as an output to that subsystem, this will help upsampling the signal and will ensure that the data integrity is not lost.
