I have recently signed up to use HYSPLIT dispersion modeling software. I am stuck at the step of uploading meteorological data. How to upload India specific data to HYSPLIT format? It will be very helpful if a source has been provided.

There are many meteorological data which have world coverage. Among them, GDAS1 and GDAS0.5 can be used for both trajectory and concentration calculations And reanalysis data for just trajectory simulation. All of the mentioned data can be downloaded through ARL ftp which has the ensuing link:

Thank you so much for the reply sir. One more request sir. How to couple/load this data into HYSPLIT? Is there any software or programming language which needs to be learnt to achieve this purpose? I am a newbie to this software and I don't have much idea in this regard.
You can assign 11 meteorological files into software simultaneously. Regarding your purpose, you can use trajectory tab or concentration tab. Trajectory or Concentration > Setup run
