I want to uniformly adjust the interlayer spacing of graphene membrane, and at the same time, I don't want to introduce other capacitive materials.
If I have to introduce the capacitive material, I wish the capacitive contribution of this material can be controlled.

I think uniform inter-spacing is very ideal and may not be that easy in practice! but anyway I think exfoliation in a neutral solvent medium by ultra-sonication (probe-type) may help, since all the solvent molecules are the same in size and the sonication is being applied homogeneously to the whole sample. Addition of a definite guest molecule to bond in between the layers may be another way as well, although it is not guaranteed they position in all of the inter galleries and in the same way...for instance oxygenated groups if it does not affect the initial properties of the desired material.
