I have an image with two different regions. I want to print one region with a mixture of Magenta + Yellow which I have printed using red colour since M + Y = Red; however another region I want to print with cyan + black colour. What colour mixture should be use on the image so that cyan and black ink can be jetted?

in CMYK usually you print M+Y to RED, C+Y=GREEN, C+M= BLUE
so if you mix Cyan (C) + Black (K) it is only the gradient (from cyan to darkness of cyan to Black - this depends on the % of black.
If 50% 50% = Hex #007780
