Dear colleagues,
Can we synthesize Alpha-Defensin-4 (Human; 33-mer) peptide with 3 disulfide bonds between Cys2-Cys30, Cys4-Cys19 and Cys9-Cys29 using the Microwave Liberty Blue peptide synthesizer?
Can we achieve linkage specificity towards disulfide bridges with respective Cys residues? There may be specific Fmoc-Cys derivatives.
The peptide sequence is: Val – Cys – Ser – Cys – Arg – Leu – Val – Phe – Cys – Arg – Arg – Thr – Glu – Leu – Arg – Val – Gly – Asn – Cys – Leu – Ile – Gly – Gly – Val – Ser – Phe – Thr – Tyr – Cys – Cys – Thr – Arg – Val
Any reference would be great.
