I used a vaccum concentrator to evaporate a solvent from monophosphoryl lipid a powder. The powder wikk then be dissolved in DMSO for cell culture application on SCC cell line. It has to be sterile. How to do that in your opinion? Is it better to steriloze the powder noting that it is in a glass test tube and is about less than 1 mg. Or do i have to dissolv it in DMSO first and then sterilize?

You can dissolve it in DMSO first and then filter it with a 0.22 or 0.45-micrometer filter, and then use it for cell culture.
