Dear fellow researchers,
I have been trying to perform a shear test between two blocks of different material (one of them has a smaller section within it of a tougher material).
I have been getting warning messages about my contact pairs which are leading to the simulation running endlessly when I submit the job.
If anyone can figure out how to resolve the contact pair issues that would be greatly appreciated.

Take into account 4 similar warnings in .dat file:

PAIRED WITH MASTER SURFACES ASSEMBLY_CP-3-PVA-C-1 AND
ASSEMBLY_CP-4-PVA-C-1 THAT ALSO INTERSECT EACH OTHER. IF BOTH
PAIRS ARE *CONTACT PAIRs, THESE TWO PAIRS SHOULD NOT BE
SIMULTANEOUSLY PRESENT IN A STEP BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE CONVERGENCE PROBLEMS.
You should redefine these surfaces in order to prevent them from intersection.

I suggest to combine 4 master and 4 slave surfaces into 2 contact surfaces (m_s and s_s):
