How to solve big size cloning (5kb insert into 4.3kb vector) ?

Hello

I am doing 5kb cloning. But unfortunately I am getting band in 3kb,can anyone tell me what is the exact reason to get at 3kb band? I have made primer in 4 fragment (approximately 1.25kb for each) also tried to make overlapping. then after getting each band separately .then I mix-up first 2 fragment and same protocol for remain 2 fragment. I got desired band. But in the final when I tried to mix-up final 2 fragment I am getting band in 3 kb!!!
