Specially for different sectors different Training and development activities will boost up economic crisis. even those who lost their job like garments workers how we can utilise them by providing different training ?
Yes training and development can alleviate economic crisis through building entrepreneurship skills among the employees in different sectors. They can think of using alternative ways to generate income if they were given training on interpersonal skills, communication skills, investment management skills , risk management skills etc those are necessary for start up business. They can even use the opoprtunities of getting the loans provided by the Government for the SME's and using their skills they get to learn from lets say entrepreneurial training and development to become successful and contribute in the economy. Thanks!.
Excellent question. The fact is that, after the pandemic, business models and practices have been changed. A series of skills has been obsoleted and companies have fired or layoff a major chunk of the labour force after this radical change. Now what will be happened, technology-oriented skills are people's management skills that will be highly demanded. As the workplace is crowded by Generation X and Y and both generations are avoiders of technology and radical change. In this scenario, the role of leadership and HRM professionals is highly demanded that can redesign companies' vision and develop new strategies for the achievements of new vision and goals. Usually, in crisis, training plays a role to develop a strong bond between employees and employers, in such a scenario, companies can plan orientation session related to business future challenges, can enhance communication among the team members so that they can feel confident. Most importantly, stress management would be also a good option.
By adapting, increasing technology-oriented management skills, increasing the share of online and communication between team members. According to my colleague Muhammad Sarfraz , stress management would also be a good option.
