The possible solutions of any optimization problem, including those that admit modeling by means of mixed integer programming, could be represented by one or more solution codes. To face these problems I developed the Integration of Variables method. As you will be able to notice the Genetic Algorithms could be considered as a particular case of the Integration of Variables method. I am attaching a description of the method and the general solution approach for the solution of engineering tasks that is related to the method.

1. Define your variables;

2. Encode chromosomes;

3. Select proper crossover operation;

4. Select proper mutation operation;

5. Select selection operation;
