Guidelines to be followed to achieve required simulation.

Step 1 : Define Tool Path in CATIA Manufacturing Module.

a. Two Tool Paths are available in CATIA

1. Helical Tool Path 2. Spiral Tool Path .

Step 2 : After Tool Path is defined in CATIA . G codes are generated .

Step 3: G codes are extracted as input to FEA as position vs time coordinates.

Step 4: FEA is carried with following guidelines:

Material Models

Assembly

Step

Interaction

Meshing

Boundary Conditions
