Hi everyone,

I am working on 3d forest partial dependence plot by using the "persp" function in R. It provides me nice color gradient 3d partial dependence surface plot; however, doesn't tell much about the data distribution/intensity in the surface. Is there any good way to overlay the data points on the surface plot? This will help to understand which part of the interpolated surface can be relied i.e. the surface regions that has more data points.

Feel free to add to the discussion and kindly let me know if my question was clear enough to offer any suggestion.
