I am new to CST having only started working with this software this year. I am a student, for a piece of work I am currently doing I have been provided with models of CSRR's and need to tune them to a specific frequency.
Is there an easier way to do this rather than running massive parameter sweeps?

To get to a specific frequency, normally observation on the targeted frequency resonant is recommended by parametric sweep. thus, from the option, you can pick the best frequency that close to the targeted frequency, then run it by setting with less parameter changes to lower down the complexity of sweeping and massive output obtained.

If you have some specific goal to the target frequency, for example some S11 parameter magnitude goal for the target frequency, you could use the optimizer mode (just above the Par.Sweep mode). In goal tab you can specify an optimizer goal for a single frequency or a range.
Then specify in settings tab, specify the variables that CST can tune for reach the goal.
