We have prepared highly stable copper sol by the method described in our paper (paper link given below ). Basically here the sub 10 nm nanoparticles are capped with PVP and PEG polymers. We have separated the nanoparticles by high-speed centrifugation. Can you tell me what are the possible routes for separation of those particles without centrifugation?

Thank you, Yuri, we have tried with it, but it is not been separated from it, even after adding alcohol and again centrifuging at low 5000 rpm.
Actually polymer grafting increases the colloidal stability of the particles hence sedimentation/settling is not observed even after keeping them for days, especially for very small nanoparticles as yours. Actually you have not mentioned what is the problem with the centrifugation? You can centrifuge them and again prepare a stable colloidal suspension in any desired solvent. Another option can be to distilled off the solvent (or solvent mixtures) under reduced pressure and you will get the particle powder.
