I am a new user of HEC-RAS and I have a question on how to run multiple simulations with various values of Manning roughness (see attached table). What I know is that I may edit the geometric data to change the roughness then run each time. However, I am wondering whether there is a more efficient way: a way to input my simulations data in order to perform all the runs at the same time. Many thanks for your help.

You can put it in a shell and run multiple runs with different parameters (in this case roughness):

Also you can do that with TuFlow.
Yes – You can run multiple simulation with single run.. you have to create different geometries for every set of changes in Manning’s n values. Once you’ve done that, you then have to create a plan for every geometry..
Then you go on the main RAS window and Click on “Run” -> “run multiple plans..” and check all the boxes for all the plans you want to run – they will run one after the other..
