I'm simulating a multi body flow under Ansys Workbench, when meshing i receive a message showing an overlapping contact region which does not lead fluent to capture the turbulence aspect
If I understood your problem correctly, then there are two options to resolve it.
(You can check the overlapped contacts by -> right click on connections --> Check overlapping contact regions in Mesher)
1. You can create a multiple body geometry (i.e., for example: create two fluid and a solid zone, and then you can combine them into a single part body ). However, I would not recommend this way (though it reduces the complexity)
2. You can remove the connections (right click --> delete connections). Then you should manually name the interfaces separately. After which, in Fluent, under Mesh interfaces option, you can choose the required coupling option of your choice for these contact regions.
thanks, really the first idea but i found a problem of continuity of flow under fluent, so the streamline fluid seem to be Laminar even the work is under Re= 100.000. its means that fluent don't capture the turbulence . but i didn't try the second one, maybe it's solves the problem.
Mr Rajesh Alayil thanks a lot for your suggestion . could you please advise me to a video or a tutorial that can explain me the way to do it in fluent and DM.
