First of all, place your syringe assembly at titrant position. Remove the securing nut from the bottom. Go to the instrument control tab in ITC software. Click on (Remove old tip) icon. Syringe will move down along with plunger. Pull it down gently with the help of tweezers. For installing the new syringe, insert the tip puller into the pipette until its tip grabs the tip of the plunger. Then extract the tip puller along with the pipette tip. Click on the install new tip icon in software. Insert a new plunger tip with the help of tip pusher tool. Then click on new tip installed icon and insert a new syringe in such a way that the fill port of the syringe and the hole for the securing nut in the syringe assembly align together, and push it in upward direction till it place properly in its position. Then tighten the bottom nut.

Thanks for your input. Luckily I got a support email from Malvern! And I managed.

So I removed the tower assembly which made handling 20X easier, first I made sure that FPA input holes were not obstructed. I used several tools to pull out the broken glass & this was easier only by removing the syringe from tower.

Yes after removal of broken glass I first placed a new "tip" followed by installing a new syringe!

All was good. I can't believe I did that without breaking or bending this precious thingy!!!

The FPA still looks good and the clean/dry position also looks good. So hopefully nothing else is broken. Also check the bottom of the clean/dry glass tube, if any glass pieces fell in there. They could bend the new syringe when you put it into the clean/dry position for cleaning. If you see any glass pieces in there, I can tell you how to disassemble the clean/dry tube and clean it. But now to the remaining piece of glass in the pipette. Usually, when the syringe nut is unscrewed, the syringe is only held in place by the plunger. As you already took the syringe and also the plunger tip out, it is a bit strange, that the rest of the glass does not come out. Maybe some small pieces of glass are stuck between the rest of the syringe an the pipette? Also look through the tiny hole where the FPA goes. Is something stuck in there? Can you grab the remaining glass with tweezers and pull it down? You can try to lever out the remaining glass with a tweezer ore something similar. Is the area of the syringe with the hole for the FPA still in the pipette? You could try and lever out the glass through the hole for the FPA. Can you see if the plunger rod can move freely? Or does some broken glass block the plunger rod movement? You could try moving the plunger rod with the software to the ‘close fill port’ position. Does this work? When the plunger rod moves, does the glass also move, or is it still stuck?
