Can you please tell me how to remove detergent DDM from protein sample for protein crystallization purpose? Thanks.
1, combine protein together and inject into SEC.
2, use lowest mwco filter for contration?
3, combine protein and load into Ni column again and purify.

What's your detergent concentration in your final buffer and why do you want to remove the detergent?
I guess the best way is to use non detergent buffer during the final SEC, just as you mentioned, but not sure whether your protein (I guess you're working with membrane protein) would sustain if no detergent is present.
