We're trying to purge a mini injection molding machine after not using it for a while now. The resin inside is PHA and can be some PLA left over as well. We've tried using a purging compound under high temperature, but that didn't work out.
-Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Ahmed Naser you should select the right purging material to clean the injection moulding machine and extruder. For me, Dyna-Purge works very well for cleaning PHA and PLA processed injection moulder. So may be you should try this.

Thank you for the answer Rajendran Muthuraj. We've used NPT purging compound but didn't work out. Would you please specify your best/recommended practice for purging the machine and at what temperature do you inject the Dyna-Purge compound?

Ahmed Naser As you may know that purging temperature should be above the processing temperature of your materials. So I was able to clean the extruder and injection moulder when I used the dyna-purge at 200oC with screw speed of 150-200 rpm.

Use PS as a purging material, try different rpm it will work.
The barrel temperature should not exceed 200oC.
If that is micro-injection molding machine remove the screw from the machine and dipped it in chloroform, after removing polymer you can reassemble it.
