I was wondering what are the ways to promote one's recently published paper.
I assume providing the text in RG would be one of them. What are the other approaches that researchers use for promoting their publication to be seen and cited by others.

The classical way is of course to present your paper to conferences. However, if you are like me, hating conferences and long distance travelling, make a desktop recording of your paper and upload it to youtube - for instance like:
