Hi guys!
I'm modeling with abaqus. The model includes four faults. I want to know how should I prevent fault sliding in the geostatic step?
Is it OK to use tie constraint or it's better to use boundary conditions?
Thanks!
Tie may introduce a unacceptable displacement in geostatic step. You can apply boundary condition and later you can deactivate it in next stage.
