I'm developing some protein surface displaying system that works in E. coli, I need to take SEM images shows successful displaying of some peptides on the surface of E. coli. However I don't have any idea about possibility or applicability of this idea. Is there any suggested protein that can displayed or secreted into outside E. coli and appear in my Images (for example protein X can be displayed on the surface and can be identified as a Y shape of the E. coli surface).
Please Note: Attached picture is from google (DOI: 10.1016/j.ymben.2015.04.003) and I just hope I could get some picture like this one :).
