I am looking for solution preparation methods for GPC analysis in order to find out the molecular weight of PLA. For the analysis, THF is used but I can't solve PLA in THF.
according the potentially useful link cited below, PLA (= polylactide or polylactic acid) is (citation) "typically dissolved in HFIPA, Chloroform, or THF depending on the degree of crystallinity." HFIPA is hexafluoro-2-propanol, but this fluorinated solvent is not easily available to many researchers. Thus in your case it might be worth trying chloroform. Short sonication in a normal ultrasound cleaning bath could also help obtaining a clear solution. Please have a look at the following guide:

Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is a analytical techniques for understanding and predicting polymer performance. You can try aetonitrile / chloroform for preparation of sample solution.
