I've used Chloroform/DMF binary solvent system to dissolve the PLA at different concentrations. However, I've experienced clogging and multijet at the tip due to the fast evaporation of the solvents. How can I solve this problem and which solvents can i use as alternative? (with high boiling point and conductivity.) Also, what is the best distance, concentration, and applied voltage in process of electrospinning of PLA ?

Dichloromethane (bp = 40 °C), hexafluoroisopropanol (bp = 58.2 °C) and a mixture of these two solvents.
