If the entrance and exit teperatures of a fluid which is flowing through a heat exchanger is known, how could i plot the cooling curve of the fluid along the tube?
The overall heat coefficient, mass flow rate and the diameter of the tube are also known.

I don't think so. The equations are written for the circular cross section. For the plate heat exchanger, the cross section is a rectangle whose lengths are let's say a and b; for the perimeter, the term pi*D of the tube will be replaced by 2*(a+b), and area pi*D^2/4 will be replaced by 2*a*b. You can reach to an equation for the rectangular cross section by rewriting the equations by replacing the area and perimeter of the circle.
Shayan Davani Sir I have again a question and I would be very glad if you could help me. The equations on the website which you advised me to use are only valid for uniform wall temperature. Is there another way to plot the cooling curve of the heat exchanger but this time with a non-uniform wall temperature ? Because for example; if I want to cool Fluid X by using Fluid Y in a counter flow heat exchanger, the temperature of the Fluid Y wont stay constant. By taking this situation into account, is there a way to calculate and plot the the cooling curve of fluid X?
