Good morning everyone

I have worked with numerous cell lines and have never had any problems with plating cells in 24 or 48-well dishes. I have now run into a problem. I have to seed HDF cells at different densities in 24 and 48-well plates, but it does not matter how I seed them or how much I try and disperse the cells, they always clump in the middle of the dish and thats a problem for me as I have to do a scratch assay and overconfluent cells will cause an entire section to rip out after the scratch not to mention the unequal seeding that will be problematic for estimating wound closure. I do not have this problem in 100 mm or even 6-well plate.

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
