I am aware that cflow is the best choice for source files written in C, but I am not sure whether I could use that for C++ as well. Also, is there a minimalist way to plot the flowcharts within gcc without having to download anything? I am totally new to this, so any help to point me in the right direction would be highly appreciated.

I have been work with QT creator for visual c++ to draw flexible plots.
For the record, the most straightforward approach was to inspect the source code by inserting print statements where I suspected the program was going to pass through while executing the functions of interest. However, I am sure there must be a more "professional way" of doing that. Thank you all!
