In SRAM implementation, while performing read operation we need to precharge the bitline and bitline_bar. Do i need to add explicit bit line capacitance for precharging?

I second the colleague Cyril Mechkov that you do not need to add any external capacitance. The bit line has a parasitic capacitance that you have to consider it in precharging and discharging process.

Dear Sandeep,
Even though conventional circuit diagrams show the capacitance added. However, the circuit works well without them too. their usage comes to play when you deal with circuits involving high parasitic capacitance.
