Hello all, I have been performing purity assay checks to obtain the percentage purity of critical chemicals like KI (titrimetrically), K2Cr2O7 (spectrophotometrically) etc. I need some information about how to perform purity assay test for N-(1-Naphthyl)ethylenediamine spectrophotometrically.

The best way to check the purity of any compound is using Q NMR (see Malz, F & Jancke H, J. Pharm. Bimed. Anal. 38 (2005) 813-823; or you can use mass balance method.
