I have to perform an ultracentrifugation to isolate VLDL and chylomicrons and their remnants from human serum.

Is it possible by just using a KBR-solution with a density of 1.0063 g/cm³? Or do I have to add NaCl/EDTA-solution as well?

How do I know where my top fraction ends? Can I see it?

Do I really have to dialyze it even though I just want to run a quantification?

Thanks a lot!
