In order to verify the validity of the stiffness and mass matrices which I obtained from Abaqus input file, I use the eig(phi,w2) syntax of Matlab, but the results is not the same as frequencies obtained from Abaqus/CAE. Do you know how could I get that results(frequencies)?

what is "phi" and "w2" in your script? and what are outputs you're getting from abaqus and matlab (first 2-3 should be sufficient)
