just for clarification: do you have n layers in the RasterStack, and n values from a .csv file? And do you want to do a layer-wise multiplication? If this is the case, then

1) you should load the .csv with read.table(), and extract the informative column (the n values) to a numeric vector;

2) a simple multiplication of the RasterStack and the numeric vector will do ahe layer-wise multiplication, so
