I would like to measure concentration of amino acids in my solid samples. It's generally a quantification method to evaluate their presence in terms of concentration as whole (like crude protein content) or individual amino acid concentration.
Can LC-MS be used for this analysis or any other methods of analysis?

For any method you may adopt first identify an appropriate solvent.
You need to specify your request. What kind of solid sample do you want to analyze? Are the amino acids soluble and free (not bound in peptides, proteins or other structures)? Did you consider to use the standard protocol of hydrolysis in 6 N HCl for 24 hrs for the analysis of the content of all bound and free amino acids? If you succeed to extract your amino acids, you may use any standard method for amino acid analysis (AAA). LC-MS is possible but not a standard method for AAA.
You must specify your analysis matrix and precise what fraction of aminoacids you want to quantify.
