I have the data as outlined below. Could you help how I can manually calculate without using any statistical software the OR and 95%CI for the following additive models:
1. GG vs TG+TT recessive model and;
2. GG+ TG vs TT dominant model

the odds ratio AD/BC. The confidence interval can be calculated in many ways. The textbook equation for the SE of the log-odds ratio is sqrt(1/A + 1/B + 1/C + 1/D), so you can calculate the CI for this and then exponentiate the bounds for the CI of the odds ratio. If you were doing it with a computer you might bootstrap this, but if not this is the more traditional approach.

for your valuable answers.However, my question is more focused on calculating OR and 95 % CI of the additive models (GG vs TG+TT recessive model and GG+ TG vs TT dominant model) in the 2X3 contingency table rather than 2X2 contingency table.
