I don't really see any easy tools out there that can perform this conversion. However, if you'd manage to convert the mzdata.xml to MGF, you could use this tool : https://github.com/compomics/denovogui. It's very user friendly and allows you to use multiple algorithms and is presented with a very nice user interface!
