I would like to perform an XTT assay with differentiated SH SY5Y cells in 96 wells. However, although I will plate the exact number of cells in each well, I cannot assume that by the end of the differentiation process the number of cells in each well (across the 96-well plate) will be equal. A possible solution is to differentiate the cells in bigger plates and then move them to 96 well plate. The advantage is that I will be able to control the exact number of cell/well. The possible disadvantage is that the procedure is too harsh and most of the cells will not survive. I will be happy and great full to get advice on this matter. Thank you, Einav.
