I am trying to make glutathione solution of pH 7.4. When I add glutathione to PBS (pH 7.4), the pH goes down drastically due to the acidity of glutathione. Can you recommend me a procedure for making 10 mM glutathione solution while maintaining its pH at 7.4?

i understand that you refer to reduced glutathione,
why dont you adjust the pH after glutathione dilution with a low concentration alkali?
in addition, if you use PBS tablet, be sure that the pH value decrease does not occur before glutathione addition. Sometimes PBS tables are not as accurate as we thought.
you can add some KOH or NaOH directly instead of their molar solutions if you wonder of solution concentration disturbance.
