Use of alternative activators instead of the conventional sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide
Dear Basavakiran,
GGBS geopolymer doesn’t exist, because slag hasn’t correct mineralogy to promote geopolymerization process. Maybe you are doing alkali activated slag based concrete ,but remember that isn’t the same than geopolymer concrete. Alkali activation isn’t synonymous of geopolymerization .
Try to use fly ash plus GGBS to obtain real geopolymer concrete . You will obtain more workable concrete with better performances without any additive.
Retarders used for Portland technology don’t work about geopolymer technology .

Ggbs itself acting as admixture in geo polymer concrete.
You can adopt ritha or vinsol to maintain the workability.
Using some fly ash reduces shrinkage and increases the workability of your concrete.
Usually the incorporation of GGBS into the system, decreases the workability of fresh concrete (OPC or GPC).
Hence as recommended by Mohammad Hossein Dalvand , use of fly ash could prove to be helpful for achieving good workability.
