I have been trying to load a hydrophilic drug in a stimuli responsive hydrophobic polymer by nanoprecipitation method. but the loading capacity if too low. Can anyone please suggest the way to increase loading effciency?
Dear Wajiha Ahmed, may be conjugation is the best option. The first link is a document that discusses some strategies of encapsulation and release. May be changing the process to electrosprying also be helpfull, an example ullustrated in the second link. My Regards

hydrophilic drug is already encapsulated , first nutralize that hydrophobic polymer and use1-2% surface active agents also it will allow to increase loading capacity of hydrophilic drug.
Well you cannot, unless you make the drug more "hydrophobic". A rapid drug release will be registered if the drug continues to be hydrophilic.
