I am planning to rebuilt a gene in leukocytes by using bone marrow transplantation. As we want to disdinguish different donors (Gene-/- and Gene+/+ for compatative transplantation), we were planning to use CD45.1 Gene+/+ and CD45.2 Gene-/- to breed CD45.1/2 Gene+/+ and CD45.1/2 Gene-/- mice. Unfournately, both CD45 and Gene are located in Chrome 1 of mice, so we can't seperate them to get what we want. Does anybody know another marker that is not located in Chrome 1? We focus on dendritic cells. Thanks a lot in advance.
