I'm SPIN-COATING PEDOT:PSS at 3000rpm on a glass/ITO substrate with Au metal grid. The substrate is thoroughly cleaned with solvents and UV treatment. I'm getting around 30-50nm PEDOT:PSS layer thickness which is approximately the thickness of the Au grid lines. Thus, it doesn't cover well the metal grid.
Is there a way to increase the thickness of the PEDOT:PSS to around 100nm so it will cover entirely the grid lines?
Going down to 2000rpm doesn't do much and below that the substrate is still wet.
It sounds like a perfect candidate for spray coating. Contact our applications team through the website and set up testing in our lab. I am confident we can get the coating you need.
Can try spin-coating with a hot solution or dilute solution and try the drop-casting method.

You could heat your PEDOT:PSS solution at 65 degree C overnight to get a concentrated solution. Using such solutions, the PEDOT thickness can be achieved at least 120nm easily. We very often did it to get thicker films.

1. You could try Static and Dynamic spin coating (depending on the speed).
2. Preheating the substrate just before the coating process.
